After thirty years managing large scale IT infrastructure initiatives in the Washington, DC suburbs, Duke took his bride to Florida for a three-day birthday weekend. They never came back. Growing up with the Ohio river in his back yard to navigating the Chesapeake Bay in his 20s & 30s, Duke’s passion has always been to be on the water. Living in SWFL has enabled him to make his passion a reality. 

Duke is the Managing Director of Fyshit, the parent company of Triple Trouble. Fyshit specializes in providing exceptional fishing and boating experiences, ensuring that every adventure is memorable and enjoyable. Triple Trouble, one of Fyshit’s premier charter boats, is equipped with top-of-the-line fishing gear and amenities to cater to both novice and experienced anglers. Along with his partners, Duke’s goal is to ensure that every customer has a wonderful adventure on the water, creating lasting memories and fostering a love for the sea. 

 Born in Belgium, I moved to the United States in 1989. My love for water began when I met my husband, and together we discovered the beauty of Key West, the Florida Keys and South Florida in general. Whether it’s fishing or boating, the water has become an integral part of our lives, offering endless adventures and cherished memories. I am excited to announce my plans to start a ladies-only fishing club. This club will provide a welcoming and supportive environment for women to enjoy fishing, share experiences, and build lasting friendships on the water.

Born and raised in South Florida, Captain Leith Middleton is a seasoned offshore charter captain with over 30 years of experience navigating and fishing the open waters of Lee, Charlotte, and Sarasota counties. Growing up on these Gulf Coast waters shaped his lifelong passion for the ocean and honed the skills that set him apart today.

Known for his deep local knowledge, expert angling abilities, and friendly, patient approach, Captain Middleton has built a strong reputation for delivering unforgettable fishing experiences for anglers of all ages and skill levels. His mastery of multiple fishing techniques and understanding of seasonal and local fish patterns ensure each trip is both successful and exciting.
